GPU-Z 2.1.0

GPU-Z, a free graphics card information utility, has reached Version 2.1.0. This version adds an Advanced tab with additional information, provides support for new chipsets, as well as minor improvements and bug fixes.



CCleaner 5.30

A new Version 5.30.6065 of the free CCleaner system cleaning utility has been released. The changelog is identical to the previous version so this is probably a bugfix release.


Update: According to the Piriform Forums this version fixes a bug with update checking.



Nvidia GeForce 382.33 WHQL

Nvidia has released the 382.33 WHQL certified graphics driver. This driver is for GeForce 400 and higher graphics cards under Windows 7, 8 and 10. It is the recommended driver for Tekken 7 and Star Trek Bridge Crew. The driver also contains PhysX version 9.17.0329 and updates GeForce Experience to version 3.6.0.

AMD Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.5.2

AMD has released the Crimson ReLive Edition 17.5.2 driver for the HD 7700, HD 8500 series and above on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. This driver improves performance in Prey and provides a range of bug fixes.

Nvidia GeForce 382.23 WHQL

Nvidia has released the 382.23 WHQL certified graphics driver. This driver adds support for the new GT 1030 GPU, and is only for the GT 1030 under Windows 7, 8 and 10.

Microsoft has released non-critical updates for Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. They are listed in more detail here. Note that these Windows 7 and 8.1 Rollup Updates are previews and thus don't need to be installed yet.



Autoruns 13.71

Microsoft has released Autoruns 13.71, updating this free startup software identification utility. This version adds Microsoft HTML Application Host (mshta.exe) as a hosting image so it displays the hosted image details, and now doesn’t apply filters to hosting images.



Process Explorer 16.21

Microsoft has released Version 16.21 of the free Process Explorer utility, which is a more detailed version of Task Manager. This version fixes an intermittent bug in the Virus Total scanning logic, and is signed with a Windows 7 RTM-compatible certificate.



Process Monitor 3.33

Microsoft has updated the free Process Monitor system monitoring utility to Version 3.33. This version contains bug fixes for destructive event filtering and is signed with a certificate installed in the Windows 7 trusted roots store.



CCleaner 5.30

A new Version 5.30.6063 of the free CCleaner system cleaning utility has been released. Changes include improved Edge, Internet Explorer, Thunderbird and Windows Explorer cleaning, improved SSD detection, as well as minor improvements and bug fixes.



Nvidia Security Update

Nvidia has released a Security Bulletin which details multiple security vulnerabilities in its graphics drivers. It is strongly recommended that all Nvidia GPU owners update their drivers to patch these vulnerabilities. For GeForce series GPU users on Windows, this means installing the 382.05 drivers or newer.



iTunes 12.6

Apple has released a new Version 12.6.1 of the iTunes software. This version provides minor app and performance improvements.

Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

Microsoft has announced that the next major update for Windows 10 will be the Fall Creators Update. It will be available later this year and will contain design changes, greater connectivity across devices, and improved developer tools.



Nvidia GeForce 382.19 Hotfix

Nvidia has released the 382.19 Hotfix graphics driver. This driver is for the GeForce 400 series and above under Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. It fixes a stutter issue experienced on some configurations while playing Prey.

Microsoft Security Updates

Microsoft has released its monthly set of Windows security updates which you can view here and obtain via Windows Update. This includes the latest Windows 7 Rollup and Windows 8.1 Rollup updates, as well as a Windows 10 Cumulative Update.



Flash Player 25.0

Adobe has released Version 25.0.0.171 of the Flash Player plugin for browsers. To download the full offline installer, use these links depending upon your browser: Internet Explorer or Firefox or Opera. Use Windows Update to update the built-in Flash Player in IE11 under Windows 8 and 10, and Edge under Windows 10. Update to the latest version of Chrome to update its built-in Flash Player.

It is the recommended driver for Prey, Battlezone, and the Gears of War 4 Multi-GPU Update. The driver also contains PhysX version 9.17.0329 and GeForce Experience version 3.5.0.



Chrome 58.0

Google has released Version 58.0.3029.96 of the Chrome browser. This version provides security and bug fixes. Note that all 32-bit Chrome users who have 4GB+ of RAM and are using Windows 64-bit will automatically be migrated to Chrome 64-bit.
