Process Explorer 16.0

Microsoft has released Version 16.0 of the free Process Explorer utility, which is a more detailed version of Task Manager. This version adds VirusTotal integration, an online antivirus analysis service. If enabled, Process Explorer sends the hashes of images and files shown in the process and DLL view to VirusTotal.com, reporting on whether they are possibly malicious.



Nvidia GeForce 334.67 Beta

Nvidia has released the 334.67 Beta graphics driver. This driver is for GeForce 8 and higher graphics cards under Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. It contains new and updated SLI and 3D Vision profiles, as well as bug fixes. The driver package also contains the 9.13.1220 PhysX drivers.



SkyDrive Renamed to OneDrive

Microsoft has announced that it is renaming its SkyDrive cloud storage service to OneDrive. The main reason for this change is that Microsoft lost a lawsuit brought against it by British broadcaster Sky.

Google has released Version 32.0.1700.102 of the Chrome browser. This version contains security and bug fixes.



Opera 19.0

The Opera browser has been updated to Version 19.0.1326.47. The changelog is not yet available.



GPU-Z 0.7.6

GPU-Z, a free graphics card information utility, has reached Version 0.7.6. Changes include graphics memory vendor detection, support for new chipsets as well as bug fixes.



Media Player Classic Home Cinema 1.7.2

A new Version 1.7.2 of the free Media Player Classic Home Cinema player has been released. Changes in this update include improvements in render performance and the user interface, a redesigned shader storage system and bug fixes.



CCleaner 4.10

A new Version 4.10.4570 of the free CCleaner system cleaning utility has been released. Changes include improved Firefox cleaning and extension management, the addition of cleaning for several utilities including Spotify and Facebook Metro, improved Audacity cleaning, along with a range of minor improvements and bug fixes.



iTunes 11.1.4

Apple has released a new Version 11.1.4 of the iTunes software. This update adds the ability to see your Wish List while viewing your iTunes library, improves support for Arabic and Hebrew, and includes stability improvements.

A new Version 6.13.0.104 of the communications utility Skype has been released. This version contains several bug fixes.



Chrome 32.0

Google has released Version 32.0.1700.76 of the Chrome browser. This version adds new features including tab indicators for sound, webcam and casting, a different Metro mode, automatic blocking of malware files, as well as other improvements, along with security and bug fixes.

Adobe has released Version 12.0.0.43 of the Flash Player plugin for browsers. Note that Internet Explorer gets a slightly different Version 12.0.0.38 of this update.



Adobe Reader 11.0.06

Adobe has released Version 11.0.06 of the Adobe Reader software for viewing PDF documents, now known as Adobe Reader XI. This update contains security and bug fixes.



Windows 9

I don't normally post speculation as news, but the source in this case is the reasonably reliable Microsoft commentator Paul Thurrott. His article says that after providing a minor update to Windows 8.1 in April 2014, the major revamp Microsoft is planning for Windows 8 due to its negative reception, codenamed Threshold, will be released as Windows 9 in April 2015.

Nvidia has released the 332.21 WHQL certified graphics driver. This driver is for GeForce 8 and higher graphics cards under Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. It has new SLI profiles and bug fixes. The driver package also contains the 9.13.0725 PhysX drivers.
