Since being established in April 2004, TweakGuides has focused exclusively on providing easy-to-understand and unbiased PC tech advice and news, with a particular emphasis on quality 'tweak guides'. This philosophy has quietly allowed the site to take up a prominent niche on the Internet, catering to both young and old alike, whether techies or newbies. Today the site regularly receives a great deal of traffic literally from ever corner of the globe, with over 700,000 unique visitors and up to 3 million page views each month.

Despite its humble appearance, what really sets the site apart is that readers trust TweakGuides to consistently provide them with impartial, accurate and detailed information on the most important developments in consumer technology, minus the sensationalism and technical jargon. For this reason the site is highly respected and widely linked to by thousands of sites across the web. Products such as the comprehensive TweakGuides Tweaking Companion PDF guides for Windows XP and Windows Vista have proven a hit with readers and receive praise from consumers and developers alike. Even the TweakGuides Forums have earned a unique reputation as one of the most mature and focused tech discussion forums available. In short TweakGuides is anything but an ordinary tech site.

My aim is to nurture a handful of key advertisers or sponsors who believe in the same philosophy as TweakGuides, and wish to reach a global audience of true tech enthusiasts with their quality products and services.

Advertising Packages

There are several options available for advertisers:

Single Slot: Each basic ad slot is equal to a 159x80 graphical banner, button or text link prominently displayed at the right of any page in the Sponsored Links column. Rates will differ depending on the page(s) chosen, based on their popularity and search engine prominence.

Multiple Slots: You can purchase multiple slots, up to all 6 available slots on a page, in order to display a larger banner. The maximum size is a single banner of 159x480.

Custom: If you have a relevant new tech-related product or service, I may be able to provide an impartial review of it in a dedicated article on TweakGuides. Alternatively, you can work closely with TweakGuides to receive specialised support. For example you may wish to commission me to write detailed but easy-to-read descriptions of settings for your game or software manuals.

General Terms and Conditions

Advertisers or sponsors must be directly relevant to the site audience. That is, the product or service must be relevant to consumer or business technology or consumer entertainment.

Advertising for clans and personal websites or blogs, and related products or services will not be accepted. This includes link exchanges and cross-promotions.

Sponsors promoting illegal or deceptive products or services will not be accepted.

No more than 6 major advertising slots at most will be allowed at any time on a single page, maintaining the relative prominence of each advertiser or sponsor.

Animated advertising is not allowed.

Advertiser or sponsor slots are displayed from top to bottom in the order of the monthly amount paid (or equivalent); i.e. the higher the payment the higher your ad slot is placed.

Payment is on a monthly or an annual basis depending on advertiser preference. The minimum length is one month, payment is always in advance.
